Spent a fair bit of my Saturday busy at work on that little project of mine for the Sigil’s birthday. Hadn’t decided until Friday evening what it was I actually wanted to do for. What I ended up deciding to do was to draw up a stylised laurel wreath, a little like the one that’s on the tabards. Once I’d got that settled, got it copied over onto this big steel plate I picked up and started cutting it out. Got most of the cutting done Saturday, so all that wound up being left to do yesterday was to finish that off, get the edges cleaned up, little polishing done to make it presentable. Good way to be spending the time Saturday, considering how quiet it was. Didn’t really run into anybody until I wandered down to the ship ‘round about five in the evening. Lassair was there when I arrived, busy taking care of these two who must’ve gotten themselves hurt out in the woods somehow, then Iadric and Lumenar arrived a little later. Talked to the two of them a little about the whole riot in Darkshire the day before, then grabbed a little of the food that Lassair’d sorted for Brewfest, headed down to the hold to get a little cataloguing done. Just Lassair left when I was done with that. Spent a couple minutes talking to her before I headed off home for dinner. About the birthday, mostly, plans she was putting together to get decorations put up ‘round the ship. Ended up settling on silver for the streamers. Figured that’d be appropriately colourful for the occasion. Was a pretty big one, really…guess I haven’t even been in the Sigil a year yet, but already seen and heard about enough of the bumps in the road to make the happier moments worth celebrating.
Headed home for dinner after that little conversation, spent a while hanging around there. Spent a bit of time afterwards looking the place over, checking if there are any repairs or anything that’re gonna need to be done before winter rolls around. Probably a couple little things that I could improve here and there if I’ve got a moment free, but didn’t get around to them that night. Headed back out into the city instead, not that there was really much to be gained from it. Quiet as anything out there. Did see Stehl and Alwynn off to one side of the Cathedral, but seemed to be discussing something fairly serious, so figured I shouldn’t interrupt them. Something about corrupting knowledge of some kind or another, from the little I caught. Guess I’ll find out more about that at some other stage, if it’s of any relevancy to me. Ran into Lumenar a while after that, or rather she wound up running into me. Must’ve been looking for me. Wanted to ask if I’d be willing to take charge of things if we wind up heading down into Duskwood much to deal with the whole problem of the rebellion down there. Figured I could do that. Been a fair while now since last I was doing patrols down there, even longer since I actually lived there, but still have a pretty good knowledge of the woods and terrain and all that. Don’t know how many of the people down there’d be keen on catching up nowadays, considering that I left to move to Stormwind, but still know a lot of them. Might give me at least some edge in terms of trying to deal with the whole problem down that way.
Quiet again after that. Bit of wandering around. Wouldn’t have been far off midnight before I talked to anybody else again. Lav and Orla wound up stumbling into me while I was just standing around beside the canals. Had this basket of Brewfest food that Lav and Lassair’d put together, all cheeses and sausages, bit of bread. Good stuff, really. Followed the two of them over to Cathedral Square after that, met Agnes and Strahm, although didn’t hang around with them all that long before I figured it’d be an idea to head home, drop off the basket. Conversation’d been fairly light-hearted stuff when I left, bit of joking about raunchier things, but it’d gotten pretty serious by the time I got back afterwards. Turns out the chief of that cannibal clan that’s working for Kirge has this weapon, Chernobyl the Exploder I think Lav said it was called. She didn’t say anything about the specifics before I figured it was probably about time for me to head home to bed, but going just off the name, doesn’t sound like it’s necessarily gonna be too pleasant to deal with. Then again, guess they could’ve chosen it to make it out to be more dangerous than it really is. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see, try find out what we can, come up with some kind of plan to mitigate the damage Kirge can do with whatever the hell it is. Figure that’ll be something to do another day, though. If the Sigil’s fifth birthday isn’t a good reason to take a couple days away from thinking about the things out there that want us dead, don’t know what is.

Move the ‘X’ to the box that most applies to your character.

[ ] Lawful Good

Acts with compassion and a sense of duty. The type to uphold a sworn oath and will protect innocents at most costs.

[ X ] Neutral good

Acts with in a positive manner, although will not value tradition or rules to act as such.

] Chaotic Good

Acts with a rebellious, free-spirited nature but still quite positively. They do the right thing, but are often disorganized and/or not aligned with the rest of society.

[ ] Lawful Neutral

Acts with a strong belief in concepts like honor, rules, and code. Typically places a strong faith in order- they obey or give orders.

[ ] True Neutral

They don’t align strongly with good or evil, nor do they with chaotic or lawful. They usually are undecided between the 4 sections or just gravitate right in the middle.

[ ] Chaotic Neutral

Acts with strong individualist nature and they have a very ‘screw the rules!’ attitude. The individual will follow their heart and promote freedom, but theirs comes first.

[  ] Lawful Evil

Acts with honor, but don’t care in the slightest for the freedoms and rights of others. Very concerned with self-benefit at times, and will twist rules and codes to favor them.

[  ] Neutral Evil

Acts extremely selfishly with no problems concerning betraying others at a moment’s notice. They typically make allies just to further themselves.

[] Chaotic Evil

Acts with no respect for anything except their own desires and selfish goals. They place high value on freedom for the self, but do not care for others’ freedoms. Often associated with chaos and destruction.

Ran into Lassair in Cathedral Square the other day, but only would’ve been a minute or two after I got there that she had to head off, take this woman down to the ship to give birth. Good thing she was there, really…it’d be a pretty tough spot if you found yourself going into labour without anybody on hand with much in the way of knowledge on how to help out. Did see Melek after she’d headed off, talked to him for a little bit, just about how I’ve been getting on lately. Not too much of note, ‘part from the fact that he ended up leaving me with this green whelpling. Said he won it over cards, thought it’d help keep me company while I’ve still got a little recovering left to do. No idea what I’m gonna do with the thing…doesn’t seem like it’d be aggressive or anything, so I’ve just been letting it wander around the outskirts so far. Guess I could see if Balderos’d like to try raising it. Considering we’ve already got a kodo out back nowadays, not sure there’d be a massive amount of room ‘round the cottage to keep a dragon. Guess it was nice of him to give it to me, tricky as it’s gonna be to figure out what to do with it.
It was Pirate Day that day. Didn’t quite remember until this one draenei wandered up, told me I was a pirate for some reason or another. Wound up having to change back before too long, but I figured I’d get dressed up for a little while for the occasion. Even put a little bandana type thing ‘round Gloria’s head. Had the stuff just lying around home, for the most part, so figured that was a better option than going for one of the spells that were being thrown around. Odd how those types of things function, at times. One Agnes got tossed at her shifted her into worgen form. Got her in a bit of a fuss, from the sounds of things. Kialthos’ gave him hair. Odd seeing him with anything other than a bald head…I’d figured he was that way naturally, but turns out he shaves it. Story behind that’s that his dentist back on Argus wound up trying to kill him and he got his hair grabbed while he was trying to fight him and his assistant off. Came out of it alright, but he’s kept his head shaved since, ‘part from a couple periods here and there where he’s let it grow. Can definitely see the practicality behind that particular decision. Makes me kinda glad I haven’t really wound up in any situations just yet where my hair’s been a disadvantage, long as it is.
Hung around the square a little while after that particular discussion before it was time to head down south, make our way to Darkshire. There was meant to be this meeting in the town hall, something to do with the rebels that’ve been causing issues ‘round Elwynn and Eastvale. Actually, should mention we ran into Eleysia and Adamar before the meeting got underway. Been months now since last I saw either of them…is good to see they’re still alive and well, even if I didn’t have much in the way of time to catch up with either of them before things with the meeting started going downhill pretty quickly. Suffice to say, rebels aren’t just causing problems north of the river anymore. Grenade got thrown into the town hall while the meeting was going on, ended up doing some damage to a couple of the people who’d been presiding over it. Noise got people in the crowd outside panicked. There’d been a few in the mix with white bandanas ‘round their arms who came at us with knives. Few people who’d been drinking in the Scarlet Raven joined in, started throwing bottles. Wound up being a fair bit of a scuffle, but I think we came out of there without too many major injuries. Didn’t kill anybody, at least as far as I know, although the Night Watch came pretty close. That bastard Riverson was there, ordered a few Watchers to open fire. It’s a good thing we were there to knock most of the javelins out of the way before they could hurt anybody. Don’t know what the hell he was thinking, or what anybody else was listening to him. Hopefully won’t do in future with the piece of my mind I gave him before we got people into the infirmary and headed home.
Anyway, that was I guess what you’d call the major event for the day. Didn’t really do a whole lot when I got back to the city afterwards, ‘part from talking to Agnes and Strahm a little bit. Guessing she hadn’t been planning on doing it right then and there, but after Strahm let the cat out of the bag, she didn’t have a whole lot of choice but to let me know that she hasn’t heard anything from Aurric in a long while now. Means she’s decided to suspend the position of regent, at least until we can find somebody to fill it while Aurric’s off wherever the hell he is. Not that that’s gonna be easy, of course. Don’t think any of the officers’re really ideal for the position, considering I’ve got Gloria to take care of, Balderos has four kids to be looking after and Mitta and Lumenar both have Izzy to think about. Guess anybody filling the position wouldn’t necessarily have to be completely devoid of a personal life, but still, want somebody who can really dedicate themselves to it, as important of a job as it is. Probably something we’re gonna have to put a fair bit of thought into, although the conversation didn’t go too much beyond that point last night. Seemed to be devolving into a bit of argument between Strahm and Agnes after he made a comment about Aurric having been in a relationship with a prostitute, so I figured it was best if I left the two of them to it.
